Caitlin Jermey has always had a passion for helping people and educating others. So, it’s no surprise that she decided to explore a career in human resources management.

With an extensive background working in the arts and with non-profit organizations, Caitlin brings a fresh perspective to her work at Williams HR Consulting. Caitlin is focused on helping our clients build successful workplaces through sound employee relations, working with leaders who recognize the need to foster strong employee engagement to achieve their long-term business goals. Specializing in recruitment and selection, health and safety, and employee relations, Caitlin has a broad range of experience in the construction, manufacturing, logistics, non-profit and education sectors. She has worked in both public and private organizations and in union and non-union environments.

Caitlin earned her bachelor’s degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and completed a post-graduate certificate in Human Resources Management. She has a certificate in project management from the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies, and was selected for the 2016 Women’s Executive Network (WXN) Wisdom Top 100 Mentoring Program, in partnership with the Beedie School of Business at SFU. Caitlin is a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) through the Human Resources Professional Association, a Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) through the Canadian Payroll Association, and a Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR).

Caitlin is actively involved in many charity, non-profit and volunteer initiatives. She has served on four Board of Directors, including her current role as President for HRPA Barrie and District Chapter. From 2014 to 2016 she served on the board of directors for Journey to Diversity Workplaces, an organization focused on breaking down employment barriers to LGBT, aboriginal, and disabled individuals, while fostering positive changes in the workplace.

Outside of the office, Caitlin enjoys teaching yoga, live music, cooking vegetarian meals, and spending quality time with her family.
